greeting

In April 2010, Nantsuttei opened its first overseas branch in Marina Bay, Singapore. Our signature rich and creamy tonkotsu soup, stewed 24 hours a day, with the thin layer of fragrant black ma-yu (roast garlic oil) is now a favorite not only in Japan but also in Singapore, and we continue to serve our ramen to a great number of customers every day. Since the opening of the Nantsuttei Marina Bay branch, we have come to know the culture of Singapore, and through our warm interactions with the people here, we have gained much joy and inspiration. We believe that taking this step out into the world has led to great growth for us.
And so now in December 2011, Nantsuttei will open its second Singaporean branch in Cuppage under the new brand Hachi Fuku Maru. With a new menu, name, and look, and with appreciation for the support we received from all our customers, our hope is to give joy to the people of Singapore with one bowl of ramen. The name

“Hachi Fuku Maru” comes from the image of a ship filled with eight treasures. This bowl of ramen is topped with eight different types of vegetables that bring richness in flavor and blessings of good health to all who eat it. The name symbolizes our desire to make our customers feel good from the inside by eating our ramen and to give them happiness.
“Bon voyage, Hachi Fuku Maru!”
We aim to contribute to the development of a food lifestyle and culture for people around the world and continue to take on new challenges.
We look forward to serving you at our branches!
